16 Details For The Safe Work Of Laser Cutting Machine

1. Follow general cutting machine safety procedures. Start the laser strictly according to the laser start-up procedure.
2. The operator must refer to all the manuals attached to the machine or have received training from our customer service personnel, be familiar with the structure and performance of the equipment, and master the relevant knowledge of the operating system.
3. Wear labor protection equipment according to the regulations, and wear protective glasses that meet the regulations near the laser beam.
4. Do not process a material without knowing whether it can be irradiated or heated with a laser to avoid the potential danger of fumes and vapors.
5. When the equipment is started, the operator shall not leave the post without authorization or trust someone to be in charge. If it is really necessary to leave, the operator should stop or cut off the power switch.
6. Keep fire extinguishers within easy reach; turn off lasers or shutters when not working; do not place paper, cloth, or other flammable objects near unprotected laser beams.
7. When an abnormality is found during the processing, the machine should be stopped immediately, and the fault should be eliminated in time or reported to the supervisor.
8. Keep the laser, bed and surrounding sites clean, orderly and free of oil pollution, and stack workpieces, plates and wastes according to regulations.
9. When using gas cylinders, avoid crushing the welding wires to avoid leakage accidents. The use and transportation of gas cylinders shall comply with the gas cylinder monitoring regulations. Do not expose gas cylinders to direct sunlight or near heat sources. When opening the bottle valve, the operator must stand on the side of the bottle mouth.
10. Before turning on the power of the water cooler, check the water level of the water cooler. It is strictly forbidden to turn on the water cooler when there is no water or the water level is too low, so as to avoid damage to the water cooling equipment. It is strictly forbidden to squeeze or step on the water inlet and outlet pipes of the water cooler to keep the waterway unblocked.
11. When the temperature is below 0°C for a long time, the cooling water in the water cooler, laser and water pipeline should be released to prevent the cooling water from freezing when the temperature is too low, causing damage to equipment and pipelines.
12. The protective lens in the laser cutting head is checked once a day. When the collimating lens or focusing lens needs to be disassembled, record the disassembly process, pay special attention to the installation direction of the lens, and do not install it wrongly.
13. The equipment will generate a lot of smoke and dust when cutting certain plates. The air outlet pipe of the fan should be led to the outside, or an air purification device should be added. In addition, operators should wear dust masks to prevent the occurrence of occupational diseases.
14. Follow high voltage safety regulations when servicing. Follow regulations and procedures every 40 hours of operation or weekly maintenance, every 1000 hours of operation or every six months.
15. After inputting the new workpiece program, it should be tested first and its operation condition should be checked.
16. When working, pay attention to observe the operation of the machine tool to prevent the cutting machine from going out of the effective stroke range or colliding to cause an accident.
