Basic anti-freezing measures
To avoid damage to the laser, output head, and water cooler caused by cooling liquid solidification, the following three solutions are recommended:
1. Ensure that the plant will not be powered off, do not turn off the water cooler at night, and ensure that the coolant is in a circulating state.
2. Drain the cooling liquid in the laser, laser output head and water cooler after use every day.
3. Use the antifreeze specified by the laser manufacturer as the coolant.
Cooling water emptying method
Open the drain valve of the chiller and release all the water. Remove the filter element to drain, because this part of the water can not be discharged to prevent ice will burst the shell. For some water that is not easy to discharge, it is necessary to blow off with compressed air and pay attention to the direction of incoming and outgoing water. "in" is the inlet and "out" is the outlet. It must be ventilated to the inlet.
Note: The laser, laser output head, cutting head and all the cooling water in the water cooler must be discharged clean in order to effectively protect the whole set of water cooling pipes and related devices!
Use the antifreeze specified by the laser manufacturer as the coolant
When the environment does not have the conditions to drain the coolant every day, it is necessary to add CLARIANT's Antifrogen®N antifreeze, which is added in a ratio of 3:7 (3 for antifreeze, 7 for water), and can resist -20 ° C without freezing. If the laser cutting machine is not used for a long time, as long as the cooling water passes through the place, especially the cooling water inside the laser and in the pipeline, it must be thoroughly cleaned.
