With the significant drop in temperature, the laser water cooler in the environment temperature is too low, may lead to water cooler failure and pipeline icing, because the density of ice is less than the density of water, it will lead to water cooler and laser internal volume expansion caused by the cooling water pipeline rupture or deformation, resulting in major damage to the core components.
Basic anti-freezing measures
To avoid damage to the laser, output head and water cooler due to solidification of the cooling liquid, the following 3 solutions are recommended.
1. ensure that the factory will never lose power, the water cooler is not turned off at night to ensure that the coolant is in circulation (please turn off and restart the water tank for the next day's work, the tank does not have a constant temperature secondary heating function).
2. empty the cooling liquid in the laser, laser output head and water cooler after each day's use.
3. Use the antifreeze specified by the laser manufacturer as the coolant.
Cooling water evacuation method
Open the water drain valve of the chiller and drain all the water. Remove the filter core to drain the water, because this part of the water is unable to drain to prevent icing up the shell. For some water not easy to discharge need to use compressed air blowing (to ensure that the gas pressure is less than 0.3MPA) and pay attention to the direction of water in and out, "in" for the import, "out" for the export, must be ventilated to the import, and pay attention to pull out the water pipe well marked, to prevent the installation of reverse. Prevent the installation from being reversed. Note: All cooling water in the laser, laser output head, cutting head and water cooler must be discharged cleanly to effectively protect the whole set of water cooling pipeline and related devices!
Use antifreeze as the coolant specified by the laser manufacturer
When the use of frequent power outages and do not have the conditions of daily coolant drainage, you must add CLARIANT (Clariant) AntifrogenN antifreeze, the ratio is 3:7 (3 for antifreeze, 7 for water), after adding antifreeze can resist -20 ℃ without freezing.
