Maintenance Tips For Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
As a major cutting tool in sheet metal processing, the application of fiber laser cutting machine equipment has brought better cutting results to customers. With long-term use of fiber laser cutting machines, large and small failures will inevitably occur. In order to reduce the occurrence of failures, users need to carry out corresponding maintenance work on the equipment at ordinary times.

Corresponding maintenance and maintenance are indispensable for any mechanical product. The same is true for fiber laser cutting machines, but users tend to ignore this problem, which can easily lead to a decrease in the cutting efficiency of the laser cutting machine and shorten the use time of the equipment. , So, what are the tips for fiber laser cutting machine maintenance?
1. Cooling system maintenance
First, the water inside the water cooler needs to be replaced regularly, and the general replacement frequency is one week. The water quality and temperature of the circulating water directly affect the service life of the laser tube. It is recommended to use pure water or distilled water and keep the water temperature below 35°C. If you do not change the water for a long time, it is easy to form scale, which will block the waterway, so you must change the water regularly.
Second, keep the water flowing at all times. The cooling water is responsible for taking away the heat generated by the laser tube. The higher the water temperature, the lower the light output power (15-20℃ water temperature is better); when the water is cut off, the tube end will burst due to the heat in the laser cavity and even damage the laser power supply . Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the cooling water is unblocked at any time. When the water pipe has a hard bend (dead bend) or falls off, and the water pump fails, it must be repaired in time to avoid power drop or even equipment damage.
2. Maintenance of dust removal system
After the fan is used for a long time, a lot of dust will accumulate in it, which will affect the exhaust and deodorization effect, and also generate noise. When the fan is found to have insufficient suction power and poor smoke exhaust, first turn off the power, remove the air inlet and outlet pipes on the fan, remove the dust inside, and then turn the fan upside down and flip the fan blades inside until it is clean. Then install the fan. Fan maintenance cycle: about one month.
After the machine has been working for a period of time, a layer of ash will be stuck on the surface of the lens due to the working environment, thereby reducing the reflectivity of the reflective lens and the light transmittance of the lens, and ultimately affecting the working power of the laser. At this time, use absorbent cotton dipped in ethanol to wipe carefully along the center to the edge of the lens. The lens should be wiped gently, and the surface coating should not be damaged; the wiping process should be handled gently to prevent falling; when installing the focusing lens, be sure to keep the concave surface down. In addition, the use of ultra-high-speed piercing should be minimized at ordinary times, and the use of conventional piercing can prolong the service life of the focusing lens.
3. Drive system maintenance
Smoke and dust will be generated during the long-term cutting process of the equipment. Small smoke and dust will enter the equipment through the dust cover and adhere to the rail rack. Long-term accumulation will increase the wear of the rail rack. Rack guide rails are relatively precise accessories. Large amounts of dust are deposited on the surfaces of guide rails and linear shafts for a long time, which has a great impact on the processing accuracy of the equipment, and will form pits on the surface of the linear shaft of the guide rails, shortening the service life of the equipment. Therefore, in order to ensure the normal and stable operation of the equipment and ensure the processing quality of the products, it is necessary to do a good job of daily maintenance of the guide rails and linear shafts, and regular dust removal and cleaning. After cleaning the dust, grease the rack and lubricate the guide rail with lubricating oil. Each bearing should also be oiled regularly, so as to maintain flexible driving, accurate machining, and prolong the service life of the machine tool.
The environment of the workshop should be kept dry and well ventilated, and the ambient temperature should be between 4°C and 33°C. In summer, prevent condensation on the equipment, and prevent freezing of the laser equipment in winter.
The equipment should be kept away from electrical equipment sensitive to electromagnetic interference to prevent the equipment from being exposed to electromagnetic interference for a long time. Stay away from the sudden large power interference from high power and strong vibration equipment. Large power interference sometimes causes the machine to malfunction. Although it is rare, it should be avoided as much as possible. Therefore, large electric welding machines, giant electric mixers, and large power transmission and transformation equipment should be kept away. Strong vibration equipment is even more self-evident, such as forging presses, vibrations caused by short-distance motor vehicles walking, etc., the obvious shaking of the ground is very detrimental to accurate engraving.
During the working process of the equipment, the operator must observe the working conditions of the equipment at any time. If an abnormal situation occurs, immediately cut off all power sources, troubleshoot the fault in time or report to the supervisor, and actively take corresponding measures. Regularly count the use of the machine, and keep a record of each part of the laser cutting machine. If the effect is not good, replace it in time to prevent problems before they occur.
